Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Porter/Shuttle Driver to join our dealership team. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of vehicles in the service department and providing a high level of customer service by transporting clients to and from the dealership safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Porter Duties:

• Move and park vehicles on the dealership lot.

• Retrieve vehicles for customers from the service area.

• Maintain cleanliness of the service drive, parking lot, and customer waiting areas.

• Wash vehicles as needed.

• Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickups.

• Support service advisors and technicians with vehicle coordination.

Shuttle Driver Duties:

• Safely operate the dealership shuttle vehicle to transport customers to and from the dealership.

• Provide a friendly and professional experience during shuttle rides.

• Maintain a log of shuttle trips as required.

• Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.

• Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns to management immediately.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).

• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (if required).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
