Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group in Wayzata, MN seeks a Porter at our Collision Center. The role focuses on keeping the lot neat, moving units, transporting customers and staff, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for display.

This entry-level, full-time position offers competitive pay ($17-$19/hr), medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, paid vacation and training, and growth opportunities within a large national auto group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to operate machinery safely and handle tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual/automatic transmission.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units as directed.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries and ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair.
• Pickup and drop off vehicles from storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Help with building and grounds maintenance and other duties as assigned.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextPorter.Located at our Wayzata Collision Center, thePorter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
