Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter for Napleton Hyundai in Hazelwood. The Porter will keep the vehicle lot neat, ensure vehicles are clean and ready, and assist with deliveries and transports.

Responsibilities include moving units per management directions, maintaining display standards, and performing general upkeep of the lot and showroom. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Ability to operate an automobile and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
