The Service Porter is responsible for performing various duties related to vehicle maintenance and service.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging customer vehicles
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before returning the vehicle to the customer
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damages and report any issues immediately
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
• Perform vehicle deliveries
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles
• Maintain the vehicle lot's organization and display standards
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
• Transport vehicles to and from storage
• Pick up parts from the Parts Department
• Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive
• Maintain the building and grounds as needed
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate machinery safely
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
