The Tipton Group is seeking a Porter/Make Ready to join our apartment maintenance team. You will help prepare homes for new residents and assist with the overall upkeep and appearance of the community.

You’ll complete turnovers, perform basic repairs, and support grounds upkeep. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and delivering a clean, move-in ready property for residents.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year in make-ready, groundskeeping, or apartment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
• Must provide and use your own basic tools.
• Professional and courteous when interacting with residents and coworkers.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Complete apartment turnovers and make-readies for new residents.
• Perform painting, touch-ups, and general repairs.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect vacant units and ensure move-in readiness.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, including trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the property.
• Respond to maintenance needs as part of on-call rotation.
• Work with maintenance and property management teams to serve residents.

What You'll Do

As a Porter/Make Ready, you'll work alongside our maintenance team to keep apartments and the community looking their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Complete apartment turnovers and make-readies for new residents
• Perform painting, touch-ups, and general repairs
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and preventative maintenance
