Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Grand Forks is seeking a motivated Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming travel center for guests and team members. You will perform routine cleaning and assist with light maintenance as needed. No experience? We will train the right person.

Walk-in interviews are held 11am–4pm at 1212 N. 47th St, Grand Forks. We offer competitive hourly pay, benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities for growth in a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/janitorial/porter experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, safe spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of travel center, including restrooms, showers, break rooms, public areas, and dining spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors to ensure they are clean and safe at all times.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and properly manage waste disposal systems.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any major repairs or safety issues to management.
• Help set up and tear down areas for events, meetings, or special needs as required.
• Stock and organize cleaning supplies to ensure they are always available.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly assistance when needed.
