LV Petroleum in Strafford, MO, is seeking a diligent Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization across our facilities. You will support meeting setups, assist with minor repairs, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for staff and customers.

The role emphasizes physical tasks, attention to detail, and customer-friendly service, with potential for varied shifts including nights and weekends. Walk-in interviews and a safety-conscious work approach are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning/custodial experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of facility including restrooms, break areas, and entrances.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
• Assist with minor repairs and notify management of major issues.
• Set up and tear down equipment for meetings and events.
• Monitor and restock janitorial supplies; report needs.
• Provide friendly customer service and adhere to safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights/weekends if needed.
• High school diploma preferred; prior custodial experience a plus.

LV Petroleum, a leading name in the fuel industry, is on the lookout for a diligent and proactive Porter to join our dedicated team. As a Porter, you will be integral in ensuring our facilities uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, providing a welcoming atmosphere for both employees and customers.

WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 11am - 4pm inside the travel center located at 225 E EVERGREEN ST, STRAFFORD, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness within the facility, focusing on restrooms, break areas, and entrances.

• Perform daily cleaning routines such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

• Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks, alerting management to any major concerns.

• Help with the setup and teardown of equipment for meetings and special events.

• Monitor and maintain janitorial supply levels, reporting needs to management.

• Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly and approachable.

• Adhere to safety and health regulations at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Prior experience in a cleaning or custodial role is a plus.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
