Job summary

Madison Community is seeking a dependable Community Porter/Housekeeper to keep Madison Shores' apartments and common spaces clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. You’ll prepare new units, tidy clubhouses, gyms, breezeways, and lounges, and perform light maintenance tasks as needed.

We value reliability, teamwork, clear communication, and a willingness to travel between local properties. 8-hour shifts, full-time, with some weekend/on-call availability. Competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with cleaning or custodial work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents with care and attention.
• Keep clubhouses, gyms, breezeways, and lounges sparkling and welcoming.
• Handle light maintenance tasks (painting, filter changes, replacing light bulbs).
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain supplies.
• Report and help address minor repair needs.

Location: Madison Shores | Full-Time | $16-$18/hour

What You'll Do

As a key part of our team, you’ll be responsible for keeping the community in tip-top shape, from preparing new apartments to maintaining shared spaces. Your day-to-day includes:

Preparing apartments for new residents with care and attention

Keeping community areas—like clubhouses, gyms, breezeways, and lounges—sparkling and welcoming

Handling light maintenance tasks (painting, filter changes, replacing light bulbs)

Operating cleaning equipment and maintaining supplies

Reporting and helping address minor repair needs

You’ll be the heart of our community—helping make it a place people are proud to call home.
