Madison Communities is hiring a Community Porter/Housekeeper to keep our Charlotte, NC properties clean and inviting. You will prepare apartments for new residents, maintain common areas, and handle light maintenance tasks. Some weekend/on-call shifts apply, with travel between local properties required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel between local properties.
• Positive work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Keep community spaces clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
• Prepare apartments for new residents with care.
• Maintain shared spaces such as clubhouses, gyms, and lounges.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (painting, filter changes, bulb replacement).
• Operate cleaning equipment and manage supplies.
• Report and help address minor repair needs.
