Job summary

Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Porter/Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of public areas, kitchens, and restrooms across clubhouses. You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisors and Assistant Director of Housekeeping, contributing to a premier private club experience.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic; prior cleaning experience is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Prior professional cleaning experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no traffic violations within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings and surrounding areas; perform detail work, trash collection, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
• Collect dirty linen and assist with washing, drying, and folding linen.
• Keep lobby, conference rooms, and dining areas clean and organized; arrange chairs.
• Restock kitchens with cups, napkins, plates, and utensils.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the entire cleaning of buildings and surrounding areas including detail work, collecting trash, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. This includes the fitness center, restaurants, bars, patios, cafeterias, bathrooms, and loading docks.
• Collect and take all dirty linen (towels, rags, robes, sheets) to the laundry and help as requested with the washing, drying and folding the linen.
• Keep lobby, conference rooms and dining rooms clean and organized, place chairs under tables.
• Restock all kitchens with cups, napkins, plates and utensils.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Required to work days or nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
• Required to operate a motor vehicle.
