Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Porter at Avasa Hammock Landing in Melbourne, FL to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal across grounds, pools, parking, breezeways, and common areas. You will handle trash removal, light maintenance, and assist with apartment turnover to ensure resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have prior groundskeeping or maintenance experience, can work outdoors in all weather, and pay close attention to detail while following company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintaining company standards.
• Lifting/carrying requirements: 25–75 lbs. (Occasional to constant)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, pools, parking and common areas.
• Ensure cleanliness, functionality and safety of amenities at all times.
• Assist in unit turn process by removing items left by previous residents.
• Deliver notices, manage trash removal, and address debris or hazards on the property.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction.
