Venterra Realty is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal across the property, including common areas, amenities, and exterior spaces at Avasa Hammock Landing. The role involves trash removal, light maintenance tasks, and assisting with apartment turnover to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, lift and move supplies, and support emergency and on-call maintenance as needed, contributing to resident satisfaction and property

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to property standards.
• Lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs regularly; heavier tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, pools, parking lots, breezeways, and common areas.
• Ensure amenities are clean, functional, and safe at all times.
• Assist in unit turnover by removing items left by previous residents.
• Deliver notices, manage trash removal, and address debris or hazards promptly.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and standards.

LOCATION: Avasa Hammock Landing

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Porter maintains the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, ensuring common areas, amenities, and exterior spaces meet high standards. This role is responsible for trash removal, light maintenance tasks, and assisting with apartment turnover preparation. By creating a clean and welcoming environment, the Porter plays a key role in resident satisfaction.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, swimming pools and spas, parking lots, breezeways and common areas.


• Ensure cleanliness, functionality and safety of amenities at all times.


• Assist in the unit turn process by removing items left by previous residents.


• Deliver notices, manage trash removal, and promptly address debris or hazards on the property. Work independently while following company standards, demonstrating attention to detail, and maintaining a commitment to resident satisfaction.


• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.


• Support the team with other duties as needed to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance preferred.


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.


• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintaining company standards.

• Over 75 lbs. Rare need
