Job summary

REEP Residential seeks a part-time Porter / Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the Valor Hill community. This on-site role covers 28 hours per week and supports the Lead Maintenance Technician and Community Director in daily grounds upkeep and resident-facing areas.

Responsibilities include inspecting the property, collecting litter, cleaning breezeways and entrances, handling trash, assisting with basic landscaping, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior groundskeeping, porter, janitorial, or multifamily property experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of breezeways, sidewalks, stairwells, parking areas and entrances.
• Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

This part-time role supports daily grounds upkeep, trash removal, and thepresentation of common areas while working closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician andCommunity Director to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents andvisitors.I. Grounds & Property Appearance Responsibilities• Walk the property regularly to collect litter, trash, and debris from grounds and landscapedareas.• Maintain cleanliness of breezeways, sidewalks, stairwells, parking areas, and buildingentrances.• Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.• Assist with basic landscaping upkeep, including sweeping, leaf removal, and removal ofweeds and debris.• Keep community amenities and outdoor gathering areas clean and presentable.II. Alignment with Management & Performance Standards• Work in alignment with the Lead Maintenance Technician and Community Director to meetproperty appearance standards.• Complete assigned groundskeeping tasks efficiently within the scheduled 28-hour workweek.• Promptly report property damage, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusualconditions.• Communicate completed work and any outstanding needs to the maintenance team.III. Grounds & Property Support• Assist with trash-outs and removal of discarded items as directed.• Help keep pool decks, breezeways, and other common areas free of debris.• Support seasonal cleanup projects and community curb appeal initiatives.IV.
