Job summary

Royal American Management is seeking a Porter to maintain the community grounds of the assigned property under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. The role emphasizes OSHA safety, professional appearance, and reliable attendance to keep outdoor areas attractive and well-kept.

You will water plants, mow and trim lawns, manage lighting and fencing, assist with general upkeep, and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Able to work under time constraints and adapt to tasks.
• Limited computer literacy and basic tool usage.
• License or ID may be required by management.

Responsibilities

• Practice OSHA standards, safety policy and stay aware of work-safety requirements.
• Water all potted plants daily and maintain new foliage as directed.
• Mow, trim, fertilize and rake lawns; trim shrubs and small trees; weed control.
• Paint exterior of buildings and maintain lighting fixtures; replace bulbs.
• Assist in custodial tasks and keep grounds free of litter and hazards.
• Maintain and inventory grounds equipment; assist with emergency maintenance.
• Standby for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
• Report unusual circumstances to supervisor and maintain a professional appearance.

Job Summary:Under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Porter is responsible for maintaining the community grounds of the assigned property in an attractive condition. The Porter will be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) Standards and company safety policies at all times.Incumbent is expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:This is a description of the major responsibilities of this position.
