Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year porter or related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public areas
• Work with others where needed
• Demonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques to ensure health and safety
• Respond to calls for spill clean up
• Respond to calls for trash removal
• Respond to cleaning/straightening of public or back-of-house areas
• Clean back-of-house areas, such as offices, hallways, and restrooms
• Follow all safety procedures
• Keep work environment clean and organized
• Pay attention to detail
• Exceed guest expectations by being responsive and following through on requests
• Maintain ongoing communication with all team members
• Respond to inquiries and maintain favorable relations
• Protect company assets by adhering to security standards
• Deliver exceptional products and service
• Demonstrate Columbia Hospitality values and mission
• Complete other duties as assigned
