Job summary

The Graystone at Columbia Hospitality in Seattle is seeking a Full-time Porter to clean and maintain public spaces, support guests, and assist with back-of-house areas. You will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction through diligent cleaning and proactive service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year porter or related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical applications is a plus.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public areas.
• Collaborate with team as needed.
• Demonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques for health and safety.
• Respond to spill cleanup requests.
• Respond to trash removal requests.
• Maintain clean/back-of-house areas.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Exceed guest expectations by being responsive and following through.
• Maintain ongoing communication with team members.
• Handle inquiries and maintain relations.
