Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company is seeking a detail-oriented Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a high-rise residential community in College Station. The role covers interior and exterior common areas, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, hallways, gym and pool areas, with weekend shifts on an alternating basis.

Qualifications

• Previous porter, housekeeper, groundskeeper, or hotel/apartment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a service-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, community spaces, gym, and pool areas.
• Perform routine duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling removal.
• Assist with groundskeeping and upkeep of outdoor areas and building perimeter.
• Support valet trash and recycling services as scheduled.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents, guests, and vendors.

Job description

• LOCATION: College Station
• SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Every other week would work on weekends 4 hours each day (4 hours Saturday, 4 hours Sunday).
• PAY RATE: $14 - $14.50 per hour.
