Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter at our Wayzata Collision Center. Responsibilities include keeping the lot clean and organized, moving units, transporting customers and staff, and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units as directed.
• Transport customers and personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries and ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles between locations and storage.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup and general maintenance.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextPorter.Located at our Wayzata Collision Center, thePorter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
