Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Rochester is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and transport vehicles and customers as needed. Based at Napleton's Mercedes-Benz of Rochester, you will help keep the lot neat, assist with deliveries, and support showroom operations.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, can operate hand and power tools, and has a valid driver's license. You will work in a family-owned dealership with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed.
• Assisting with customer deliveries.
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary.
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.
