Job summary

Napleton Auto Group in Aurora, IL is seeking a Porter to maintain vehicle appearance and support dealership operations. The role includes keeping the lot neat, transporting customers and staff, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for showroom display.

This entry-level position offers a starting wage of $16 per hour, with employee benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation time, and growth opportunities within the group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Valid state driver's license required and automobile operation ability.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• 18 years of age or older to meet driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep lot neat and orderly and move units per management directions.
• Transport customers and dealership staff as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries and showroom readiness.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot and showroom.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles between storage and other locations.
• Support weather-related cleanup and general upkeep.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextPorterLocated at Napleton Valley Genesis, thePorter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
