Position Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Porter is responsible for general cleaning of office spaces and the building on the property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the building.
• Remove trash, refill paper products, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, stock restrooms, clean windows.
• Assist with miscellaneous repairs and ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Be flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Travel via personal vehicle or public transportation as needed.
• Lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks safely.

Education, Training, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.

Employee Requirements

• Comply with state-mandated reporter training.
• Attend GSGLA signature events and activities as assigned.
