Job summary

The W Group in New York is hiring a Porter to uphold cleanliness and safety in an active assisted living environment. You will perform sanitation duties, tour the facility, and report issues to maintenance while maintaining a respectful, patient-centered approach for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with residents with respect and dignity.
• Ability to multi task.
• Prior experience as a Porter/Housekeeper in an Assisted Living Facility a BIG PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
• Periodically tours facility and grounds, examine doors, windows, and ensure proper working order
• Reports any unusual conditions or malfunction of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems or any other incidents to the Maintenance Director
• Reports in communication log and to manage any incidents
• Other duties as needed
