Job summary

CareOne LLC is hiring a Porter for their facility in Westwood, NJ. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order by executing various cleaning tasks and ensuring the facility's supplies and equipment are well-managed.

This full-time position offers a salary range of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, requiring a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience. Join a team dedicated to maximizing patient outcomes and providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Remove miscellaneous debris by removing trash.
• Clean bath areas and refill supplies.
• Wash and vacuum floors.
• Dust and polish furniture; clean glass surfaces.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and order new ones as needed.
• Ensure equipment operates by following instructions and performing maintenance.
• Comply with security regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Participate in educational opportunities for job knowledge.
• Take ownership of new requests and enhance housekeeping reputation.

Salary Range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour

The Porter will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Maintains the facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Removing miscellaneous debris by removing trash.
• Refreshing bath area by cleaning toilet, and sinks; refilling hand towel and toilet paper dispensers.
• Cleaning floors by washing and vacuuming floors.
• Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces.
• Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed.
• Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Position Requirements:
