Job Title: Kitchen Support Worker

Schedule: Part-time, weekends, day and evening shifts, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Summary

The Kitchen Support Worker maintains the kitchen and equipment in a sanitary condition compliant with all regulatory agencies overseeing the dietetic services department. Responsibilities include assisting the store room clerk with food and supplies, washing and sanitizing dishes, trays, lids, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils used in meal preparation and service for patients, cafeteria, and special events. The role also involves removing trash from the kitchen and cafeteria, cleaning floors, walls, and ceilings as part of daily routines or as assigned, and transporting dishes and trays to and from Sterile Processing and Materials Management.

Minimum Requirements

• Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills
• High School Diploma, GED, or High School Certificate
• Less than 1 year of experience
