Job summary

South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a dedicated Porter to support floor care and trash disposal across the community. You will help maintain floors and carpets, manage trash, and keep equipment in good condition while participating in ongoing training.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Porter is responsible for major floor care projects and trash disposal.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Porter:

• Maintains floors and carpets within the Community.
• Picks up and removes major trash from the Community.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Previous floor maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Full-Time

Salary: From $15.50 per hour
