Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Porter to support our collision and glass services in Denver. You will help maintain pristine shop and office facilities, pre-wash vehicles before repairs, and perform interior and exterior cleaning after service to uphold our WOW standards.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. Automotive experience is a plus, and the role emphasizes attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is consistently executed.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office interior and trash.
• Keep production area clean and organized; dispose of waste and store tools.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat condition.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Clean inside and outside of customer vehicles after repairs.
• Transport vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Education and/or Experience Required

Compensation Details

$15 - 21 / Hour Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
