Job summary

The TemPositions Group of Companies seeks dependable Porters/Dishwashers to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. You will wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and assist with general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Previous dishwashing or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; candidates must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. We value reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, kitchen surfaces, and equipment.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and remove trash and recycling throughout the shift.
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies in designated storage areas.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms, walk-in coolers, and other back-of-house areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Perform opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties as scheduled.
