Job summary

NationaLease in The Bronx, NY seeks a team-oriented individual to support truck maintenance, service customers in person and over the phone, and help keep trucks and work areas clean and organized. Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn are valued.

The role may involve fueling trucks, performing safety checklists, and potentially driving a manual transmission in some runs, with opportunities for growth within a long-established ESOP company.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge helpful.
• Light management skills.
• Minimal experience within a similar capacity.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers.
• Bilingual: Spanish a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

• Some computer work, process paperwork and answer phones.
• Service the customer (on phone and in person).
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and trucks; check fluid levels.
• Fueling of trucks; Fueling Procedures/Checking Fuel Tanks.
• Perform Vehicle Safety Checklist upon Vehicle Check-In/Fueling.
• May eventually need to drive manual or standard transmission for runs.
• Other duties as assigned by the branch manager or lead personnel.
