Job summary

Boyd Group Services in Mesquite, TX is hiring a Porter to complement quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining the appearance of the shop and offices.

Responsibilities include WOW plan execution, daily interior and exterior cleaning, parking lot upkeep, pre-washes, post-repair cleaning, and transporting vehicles to sublet locations. High school diploma preferred; valid driver’s license; 18+; automotive experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily interior office housekeeping and cleanup of countertops and work area.
• Maintain daily production area housekeeping and disposal of waste; organize tools.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly; shovel sidewalks when needed.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Exterior and interior cleaning post-repairs and vehicle transport to sublet locations.

Job Description:

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver’s license
