Hirebridge is seeking a dedicated Porter in Melissa, Texas to manage grounds, building exteriors, leasing office areas, tour paths, parking lots, and common spaces to maximize curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include daily debris removal, preparing market-ready units, exterior cleaning, snow and weather-related tasks, and coordinating with residents and teams to sustain a high standard of cleanliness and safety while protecting confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
• Passionate about meticulous curb appeal.

• Assist in the preparation of market‑ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the porter position:
