Position Overview

This role is located at Ohana Military Communities in Kailua, HI. The Porter is responsible for grounds, property maintenance, and appearance, including power washing, yard work, trash collection, and appliance delivery. Must work outdoors in all weather, handle exterior equipment, power tools, and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and community facilities.
• Remove trash daily, replace outside bulbs.
• Power wash structures and public areas.
• Maintain fences and gates.
• Prepare units for market readiness, including cleaning and yard work.
• Assist with maintenance tasks like appliance and heavy item removal.
• Clean units, including carpet cleaning where applicable.
• Assist with snow removal if needed.
• Keep accurate work records per company policies.
• Enhance curb appeal by removing trash and debris.
• Inspect outdoor amenities and perform repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Paint structures and amenities as assigned.
• Represent the company professionally and communicate with residents.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly and follow safety rules.
• Remove abandoned furniture and transfer trash to dumpsters.
• Maintain community cleanliness and safety standards.
• Drive company or personal vehicles as required for work duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits
