The Nutrition Service department is seeking qualified candidates for the Porter position. Upon hire, you will be enrolled in the Nutrition Services Career Path, offering unique learning and skill development opportunities. Completing the entire Career Path can earn you an additional $3.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Manager and Supervisor, the Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across retail, patient services, and coffee kiosks. Responsibilities include sanitation, ware washing following safety guidelines, managing pot and pan supplies for the cooking area, assisting in various departments as needed, receiving vendor deliveries, and maintaining storeroom organization. Food transport to satellite locations may also be required. The position may operate at any Parkview entity.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred or at least 1 year of related work experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality, customer service, or general labor preferred
• Experience in nutritional services within a healthcare setting is a plus

Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and apply critical thinking
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend frequently
