Avenue5 Residential is hiring a Porter in Texas. You will maintain grounds, amenities, and exteriors, ensuring high curb appeal and top-notch resident satisfaction.

Duties include cleaning, snow handling, and assisting with unit readiness, with emphasis on safety and professional conduct. We value excellent customer service, organization, and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a fast-paced property environment.

Responsibilities

• Preserve confidentiality of applicants and residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues promptly.

About the porter position:

We’re looking for a talented porter who will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, tour path, parking lots and other areas of the assigned property, with maximization of the property’s marketing appeal with the highest level of customer satisfaction in mind.

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.

• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.

• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
