PORTER

Reports to: Manager on duty

Essential Functions

• Demonstrates sanitation and food safety practices consistently.
• Checks the restaurant from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly jobs timely and accurately.
• Maintains the appearance of the building exterior and grounds, including landscaping and snow removal.
• Follows safety standards and looks out for the safety of team members and guests.
• Coordinates job duties with other team members to ensure efficient opening preparation.
• Properly stores food orders, rotates stock using FIFO, and monitors shelf life and code dates.
• Records food temperatures upon delivery and completes the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist.
• Maintains knowledge of all restaurant equipment and performs scheduled maintenance safely and correctly.
• Completes duties by 10:30 AM to prepare for the lunch shift and reports any issues to the opening manager.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the manager on duty.
