Job summary

Major Food Group is hiring a part-time Porter for Contessa in Boston, MA. You will help maintain cleanliness in Back of House and Front of House areas, sort and wash dishes, and support daily operations within a luxury hotel setting.

AM/PM availability is required, and you should be dependable, hard-working and able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role offers a chance to contribute to a premier dining experience at The Newbury Boston rooftop.

Qualifications

• AM/PM availability required.
• Minimum 0–1 year experience in Porter/ Dishwasher/ Janitor or similar role.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, hard-working and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of Back of House and Front of House areas.
• Clean and sort all dishes and flatware.
• Mop and take out trash as necessary.
• Wash and disinfect appliances, display case, work surfaces, floors and walls.
• Replenish cleaning materials, soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
