Job summary

Major Food Group in New Orleans is hiring for a Porter to support Back of House and Front of House operations. You will keep areas clean, wash dishes, and assist with general duties to ensure a smooth service.

We seek dependable, hard-working individuals who can lift up to 50 lbs and have open daytime and overnight availability. Competitive salary and benefits are offered, including health insurance and time off.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years experience in porter/dishwasher/janitor or similar role.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, hard-working and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of Back of House and Front of House areas.
• Clean and sort all dishes and flatware.
• Mop and take out trash as necessary.
• Wash and disinfect appliances, display case, work surfaces, floors, walls.
• Replenish cleaning materials, soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
