Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Front Line Supervisor for the Portal Mines operations in Nevada. The role requires proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining and experience supervising frontline teams in underground environments.

You will prioritize and assign personnel, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, develop staff to safety and efficiency standards, and perform other duties as assigned. Rotation schedule of nights and days is an essential function.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of underground mine related experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience at a supervisory level.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.
• Experience in planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to supervise underground staff.
• Excellent safety and performance record.
