Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor at the Goldrush operations. The successful candidate will supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to ensure production and development targets and schedules are met, while maintaining a safe, efficient and compliant working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of maintenance experience in stationary and/or dewatering equipment.
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of supervisory experience in mining preferred.
• Underground shaft experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others.
• Proven safe work record and commitment to safety.
• Strong oral and written communication within a team.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Fixed Maintenance Supervisor at our Goldrush operations. The Fixed Maintenance Supervisor will supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to ensure the production and development targets and schedules are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and lead fixed maintenance teams to ensure the production and development targets and schedules are met to ensure profitability and business development in accordance with the annual budget and strategic business plan
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in maintenance of stationary equipment and/or dewatering equipment with emphasis on vertical shafts in a planned work environment required
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred
• Underground shaft experience required
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others required
• Proven safe work record required
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment required
• Strong communication skills — oral and written required
