Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling seeks a Portable Sanitation Driver to safely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and cleanliness of equipment.

You will service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers and comply with DOT regulations, wearing PPE, and following company procedures. The role supports teamwork and operational flexibility across routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard tech and documentation tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates with other operational needs as directed by management.

Your Role

As a Portable Sanitation Driver, you'll safely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes.

• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.

• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.

• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.

• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.

• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

What You'll Bring
