Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling in Florida is seeking a Portable Sanitation Driver to operate a Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes and deliver exceptional service to residential, commercial, and municipal customers.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow DOT safety procedures, and work with dispatch to maintain efficient routes while representing Coastal professionally and safely every day.

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes.
Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
Coastal team-driven approach: help teammates after completing routes as directed by management.
Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.

Your Role

As a Portable Sanitation Driver, you'll safely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.
