Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is hiring a CDL Roll Off Driver to safely operate a Roll Off Truck along assigned routes and service diverse customers. You will transport, deliver, and service materials while upholding safety standards and professional conduct.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Overtime may be required; join a growing, safety-focused team serving Florida and nearby states.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Roll Off Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or delays.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Use onboard tech to finish route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates with other operational needs as directed.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Wear PPE at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service representing Coastal.

Your Role

As a CDL Roll Off Driver, you'll safely operate a Roll Off Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate aRoll Off Truckon assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

What You'll Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
