Job summary

Sea To Land Logistics in Houston, TX is seeking a dependable Port Driver / Warehouse Associate for a dual-role position combining container/port transportation with hands-on warehouse duties.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of professional driving experience, a valid TWIC card, a clean driving record, and forklift experience. The role requires safety-minded, detail-oriented individuals who can work in both truck and warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years driving experience required.
• Valid TWIC Card required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Previous port/container freight experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience; certification a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move flooring materials.
• Ability to work on your feet in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Port Driver responsibilities: Pick up import containers from the Port of Houston and transport to our warehouse.
• Maintain transportation and delivery documentation.
• Confirm container/load/shipment information before leaving the port.
• Safely secure and transport loads per DOT requirements.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and management regarding pickup status or issues.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment; report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all port, company, and transportation safety procedures.
