Job summary

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload freight in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior warehouse or dock experience, forklift certification or hazmat training, and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse, dock, forklift, or pallet jack experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or hazmat training preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks per regulations.
• Operate dock tools to secure freight and manage straps, bars, air bags, dunnage.
• Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed.
• Verify shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Follow bill of lading and quality control procedures to ensure timely, cost-efficient shipments.
• Log shortages and damages to freight.
• Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
