Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a TERMINAL OPERATOR II at Port Allen, LA. You will perform monthly PMs, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, unload product barges, and carry out other duties as assigned.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience, a HS Diploma/GED, and strong mechanical skills. On-site position with potential for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical skill set.
• Logistics or inventory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rail and truck receiving, loading, and dispatch with accurate inventory records.
• Operate mobile equipment such as frontend loaders and cranes.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Unloading barges and sampling as needed.
• Must be on call one weekend per month.
