Job summary

ASAP LOGISTICS LTD is seeking drivers with a CDL-A and TWIC to operate in NY/NJ port corridors. The role involves hauling containers to and from major port terminals, coordinating with logistics teams, and complying with port safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years of port-terminal experience, are reliable, punctual, and able to navigate congested port environments. Overtime is available in a fast-paced, essential logistics setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience with NY/NJ port terminals.
• TWIC and HazMat for port required.
• Experience hauling containers to and from port terminals and local destinations.
• Ability to follow dispatch instructions and communicate effectively with the dispatch team.
• Adherence to port safety protocols and terminal rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with logistics teams to avoid delays and ensure smooth operations.
• Haul containers to and from NY/NJ port terminals (Port Newark, Port Elizabeth, Maher, APM, GCT, PNCT) and local destinations.
• Adhere to dispatch instructions and communicate with the dispatch team.
• Navigate congested port environments safely and efficiently.
