Job summary

Scarsella Bros., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Port of Seattle project team in the Seattle area. Responsibilities include submittal management, RFI handling, drawing interpretation, and field coordination.

The role requires 2+ years of construction field experience, a civil engineering-related degree, and the ability to travel/relocate. Competitive salary bands and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' construction field experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on drawings and specs.
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and document management.
• Assist interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity calculations from drawings and specs.
• Assist in work plans, packages, and field surveying.
• Assist in daily labor timesheet processing and jobsite safety reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries and scheduling on the jobsite.
• Supervise field operations and subcontractor activities.
• Assist with data for submittals to customers, vendors, and government agencies.
• Prepare purchase orders/subcontracts and assist in cost reporting.
• Maintain project records, daily reports, and RFIs.
