Job summary

Scarsella Bros., Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer for the SR 167 Completion Project in Fife, WA.

This role bridges design and construction on a progressive design-build project, working with experienced field leaders, project management, and design professionals. You will assist in planning, monitoring quantities and production, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality on a high-profile transportation project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 2+ years of construction or field experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and documents.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist field supervision with day-to-day planning and execution of construction activities.
• Review drawings, specs, design packages, and contract documents to support field crews.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to resolve field issues.
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and other documentation.
• Assist in work planning, sequencing, and cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate as-built records and project files.
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries to support field schedules.
• Support safety program and toolbox talks.
