Job summary

Teck Resources Limited operates at Red Dog Mine, AK, seeking a Port Operator who can safely run port equipment and manage concentrate load-out. You will follow safety rules, supervise tasks, and assist training while maintaining accurate paperwork and inspections.

The role requires experience in mining environments and a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions. You will be part of the Port Operations discipline, handling conveyors and dump operations, with a two-weeks-on/

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ prior mining or similar experience with heavy equipment.
• Must be certified ship loader operator.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Shift work required (Day/Night).
• Desire to advance through Port Operations competency.

Responsibilities

• Operate port equipment (TUB, VAC truck, loaders, skid steer, forklift, dozer) safely.
• Oversee safety and environmental rules on site.
• Manage stockpiles in CSB’s and load concentrates to loaders.
• Train new operators and lead small projects safely.
• Complete basic paperwork (timesheets, inspections) and report task updates.
