Job summary

Centerline Logistics is seeking a maintenance technician to service a fleet of tugs and barges, performing on-site repairs and inspections as directed. The role involves working with mechanics and being prepared for hours beyond standard shifts.

The ideal candidate can read complex instructions, operate winches and tools on vessels, and travel to job sites as needed in the maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining marine equipment on-site in varying conditions.
• Knowledge of diesel engines used in maritime vessels.
• Ability to read and follow complex instructions and manuals.
• Must be physically fit to board vessels and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Repair marine equipment on site and under adverse conditions, at any hour.
• Inspect vessels for repair standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with company mechanics as needed.
• Board tugs, barges, and ships to perform repairs when required.
