Job summary

AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or managing workforce development programs.
• Knowledge of employer engagement and partner coordination.
• Strong program design, facilitation, and performance measurement skills.
• Willingness to travel to port sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Assess workforce demand and identify skills gaps for port and maritime sectors.
• Design recruitment, training, and placement pipelines.
• Convene employers, labor partners, and training providers.
• Develop program models, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Analyze labor-market data and translate findings for agency leaders.
• Support participant-centered program design and continuous improvement.
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to proposals (if named).
